Courses for the municipal administrative officer and board secretaries in planning and zoning offices are offered and can lead to a Board Secretary or Land Use Administration Certificate. The curriculum provides an introduction in records management, reading, and understanding plans, and financial management. Courses for zoning officials leading to a certificate also are offered. An introductory course covering the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL) is available for municipal planning board and zoning board of adjustment members. WHAT'S HAPPENING!! Current Issues in Planning and Zoning – June 6, 2008 Join other board secretaries, land use administrators and zoning officers on June 6 for this year's Current Issues in Planning and Zoning conference and accrue 5 hours of continuing education. This all-day event will be held at Cook Campus Center, and sessions will cover a variety of topics, including Pay-to-Play, the Right to Farm Law, and the application review process from the developers' perspective.
