Mandatory Training Law for New Jersey Planning and Zoning Board Members  The legislation, P.L. 2003, ch. 133, requires that current and prospective members as well as alternates must take five hours of training through a basic course in land use law and planning.  View and download the full text of this law and the administrative rules for the program adopted by the NJ Department of Community Affairs.
