This is the first online course offered by the National Transit Institute of the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

This course is for...

If you've never taken an online course before, please take a moment to get acquainted with the electronic classroom.  Think of it as a giant room, with different spaces for discussions, resources and lectures.  I'll be your guide as well as your instructor.

Start by clicking on the white box marked "Course Home" at the left of the screen.  There you'll find a syllabus and place for you to introduce yourself.  If you get lost anywhere, just send me an email to my associate, Leo Vazquez, at vazquezl@rci.rutgers.edu.  He helped design this classroom, and he can help you.

Once you're settled in, check out "Registration" and "Course Review."  On XXXXX, we'll start with Session 1.
